Basildon NEETS

The project is a programme of additional support to target students aged 14-16 vunerable to becoming NEET and the reduction of existing NEETs in the Basildon District. The project will provide additionality to existing strategies by other agencies supporting pre-NEET and NEET. The project will result in increased particiation of young people from disadvantaged communities i n F.E. and H.E. and learners from across the District will be supported in pursuing progression routes and gaining qualifications resulting in the longer term in wider career choices and employers being provided with the required skills to meet their present and future needs.
