Community Sports Development

The project will appoint a workforce Development Activator covering the local authority areas of Southend, Thurrock, Basildon, Castle Point and Rochford and a Sports Activator covering the local Authority areas of Southend, Thurrock, Basildon, Castle point and Rochford and a Sports Activator dedicated to Southend. The aim of the project is to deliver the recommendations arising from the Thames Gateway South Essex Workforce Development Plan and to build the legacy of the 2012 olympics and Paraylmpic Games through the engagement of people in the South Essex area in sport, physical activity and volunteering. This is clearly reflected in the job descriptions for each position.
