Station House, Gordon Road, Corringham

Date:May 14, 2009

CHP is due to take handover of 16 homes at Station House, Corringham – the company’s second affordable housing scheme in Thurrock.
The Station House development comprises 16 homes for social rent with a mix of 12 two-bedroom and four one-bedroom apartments and has
received £880,000 in funding from the Homes and Communities Agency.

Delivery of the new homes – due for handover in May 2009 – is the first scheme to be achieved through an innovative partnership with Parkfield
House Developments Ltd. The scheme is the first of a many being built via the partnership which has been created to help bring forward a
variety of sites across Essex. The alliance enables the provision of much needed afforded homes on sites originally earmarked for private
development, which are likely to remain un-touched in the current economic climate.
