Parklands
The Partnership led a successful bid to CLG for the Thames Gateway Parklands project in Essex. This aims to unlock the potential of South Essex’s green space, affording significant environmental, social and economic benefits. This plan embraces the areas identity and connection with the Thames estuary, and will seek to action its carbon footprint.
We have secured £11.5m for Essex, this will collectively leverage an extra £12.94m of match funding, meaning a total spend on Parklands projects in South Essex up to 2011 of £24.44m
